Louis Vuitton has unveiled its new men’s Pre-Fall 2022 residency in Soho that highlights the final capsule from the late creative director, Virgil Abloh.
Even though the loss of Virgil Abloh is still felt around the world, the fashion world is still remembering, honoring and paying tribute to the visionary creative. His work lives on and the latest iteration of his storytelling prowess is present in Louis Vuitton’s newest temporary residency in Soho for the men’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection. Titled “Daybreak,” the latest capsule is Abloh’s final capsule for the French heritage house. Featuring gradient walls in shades of teal, jade green and pollen, the walls and floor of the space are finished off with yellow Louis Vuitton initials.
“My philosophy is very much informed by the clothes that people actually wear. What I do is an analysis of a generation: what do people buy and why do they wear it,” said Virgil Abloh? “That question naturally creates an equal interest in tradition as it does in changing tradition. But it’s also about challenging myself and exploring different land. That is creative freedom.”
In addition to the cool-hued setting, the residency space is also outfitted with custom mannequins of models who were a part of Abloh’s vision. The store is outfitted with ready-to-wear garments and accessories from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection – featuring mohair knitwear, outerwear, vests, denim, luxe sweatsuits and t-shirts. A highlight of the collection is contemporary suiting that features Louis Vuitton’s Damier print detailing in addition to vintage trunk closures.
Rounding out the capsule are some of Abloh’s signature accessories like soft trunks, mini keepall bags, backpacks, LV Trainers and more.
Check out the images above for a look at the residency that is currently open through early June at 104 Prince Street in New York City.
You better.

Classic denim motifs continue across the jacron-inspired Air Max tongue patches, and crisp white hues extend to the laces and inner lining. A white/pale blue sole unit below features a red translucent Air Max unit to complete the design.

After introducing an over-designed take on the Dunk Low, Nike is now set to debut the Air Max 90 Scrap.
Building on its emerging “Scrap” line, the shoe serves as a maximalist take on the classic Air Max 90 silhouette. Coming in a mix of “Beige/Blush/Sail,” the shoe features mesh and leather uppers defined by stacked and tacked on panels. The Air Max 90 Scrap maintains the overall look of the original with a maximalist outlook. Elevating the shoe are Air-assisted midsoles paired gum rubber outsoles.
