All Air Max 90s that release over the course of 2020 will present a true-to-the-original shape. This pair is no exception, as it mixes a slightly streamlined white mesh and grey suede upper with a high-cut black leather mudguard. Its nom de guerre, however, is provided by a plethora of punchy blue accents. These are dispersed across the bold bottom eyestays, tongue tag, rubberized heel badge and ridged plastic midfoot window. Further branded embellishment appears by way of a grey midfoot Swoosh and a Nike Air graphic on the heel.
Blue makes its presence felt on the lower half as well, encircling the visible heel Air Max unit. The remainder of the midsole is crafted from white EVA foam, and a black rubber outsole offers dark contrast. A square rubber hangtag with blue and clear details finalizes the stylings.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Hyper Royal” will release at retailers like BSTN and Foot Locker on January 30 for $120 USD.
