Puma continues to stylize its RS-X Softcase Sneakers, following up monochromatic renditions of the silhouette, from back in July, with two new iterations decked in vibrant pop colors.
Dubbed “High Rise/Blue Turquoise,” the first colorway is dominated by a silvery metallic finish, complemented by bright hits turquoise. A large pull-tab is placed at the tongue marked with “RS-X” branding over soft mesh textiles. Working down to the main body of the sneaker, Puma’s side stripe logo is subtly debossed with thin lines, while “RS Running System” is stamped at the rear quarter. All of these details sit atop a chunky white midsole that serves as a nod to the original mold of the ’80s runner. The next colorway features black upper collars, a white body and a greyed-out midsole. Thin streaks of red show up at the heel pull, the tongue tab and the rear quarter, while tiny purple accents grace the midsole and outsole as finishing notes to the piece.
Both colorways of the Puma RS-X Softcase Sneakers are currently available at puma.com for $110 USD.
