Building atop the enduring popularity of Reebok‘s Aztrek runner, the British footwear imprint is introducing a contemporary twist for the retro sneaker. The Aztrek Double takes the classic shoe’s appealing heft and upgrades it with an extra-chunky outsole and variety of tweaked details.

An exaggerated midsole and more substantial outsole, complete with blue accent, give the Aztrek Double an even more substantial silhouette than its predecessor, amplified by a layered upper. Suede and mesh intermingle on the upper, with a 3D “wing” attached to either side of the vamp, granting extra color contrast and a sharper profile. The womens’ sneaker will initially launch in a variety of muted colorways that take advantage of the textile eyelets and pull tab for bright hits of color.

The Aztrek Double drops on June 1 via Reebok’s dedicated Aztrek page for $90 USD.

MALE SUPERVISORS WALKING INTO THE FEMALE CHANGING ROOM WHILE FEMALE SUBORDINATES WERE CHANGING. MY EXPERIENCE WORKING AT THE ( P V H ) Calvin Klein SAMPLE SALE THROUGH PROJOB - IN HOOFDORF NETHERLANDS. None of them even knocked or informed the room that “Males” were coming into the room.

SO: 1. I do not understand why they stayed. Especially, when everyone knew that Female employees where trying out clothes. My second shock came in when not only did they (the supervisors ) actually stay in the room for a couple of minutes to finish their discussion.

 2. I feel in any but specifically a professional environment -The moment when the Male employees saw that the female employees were half naked they should have turned around and left the room immediately. I could not imagine any situation when it would be appropriate for Male colleagues and supervisors to see their female colleagues in their underwear.

3. I do not understand why they did not go outside the changing room. There is a small private space where they could have discussed their matter - Away from their half naked subordinates and were they can still have privacy if what they needed to discuss was a sensitive matter. Even if it was a sensitive matter the offices are just across from the area where it would be most appropriate to have a conversation.

4. It is common and International knowledge that a female changing room is a female only space. This being my first sample sale (and to all the other women who were working the sample sale for the first time) most Importantly never did I consent or was made aware of that male employees were allowed in the female changing room. In an era of the MeToo Movement, seeing this unfold in front of me has triggered me in a way that I have never felt before. I feel every single stride for female equality in the workplace has never reached the doors of PVH. It infuriates me as a believer in absolute consent and someone needing my expressed permission to see my body. I have honestly never in my professional life felt so violated and disgusted. A Corporation like PVH that Handles International “Female Empowering Brands” has male supervisors walking in on a half naked subordinates demonstrates a disparate power dynamic that should never exist in a company. And above all, just as the MeToo movement highlights I knew I could not report this to my direct Manager because 1. I had never in my entire professional life seen male supervisors - or male colleagues not turn on first instant of seeing a half naked Female Employee/subordinate, so I can only assume this is the sad norm. I must reiterate they are superiors. I also feel this behaviour is extremely immoral. Male employees should not be looking at their female colleagues bodies with out their consent. This is a principle of Professionalism and common sense.

Quick question. you grilling today or nah? That's all I wanna know. What you grilling and if I can come over. I really will if you got some Beyond Meat on the grill or something. Cause, Vegan.

I fell like not being that safe today. I'm wearing black as you can see from the shirt above. It's risky in this Georgia weather but fashion is a risk when you look good.

Black Glitch Slim Fit Shirt
I think I like this shirt so much cause it looks like one of my paintings I would do.

Red Stretch Skinny Chino Shorts

I told you that I was out here, out here. I would normally toss on some tan shorts and be done. Let's be like doves in the wind. Yeah, I have been playing SZA heavy later.

 Petite Steel

Am I the only one that will have a watch on my wrist and still look at the time on my phone?  Don't lie. You do it too. On the plus side, we get to make sure our phone is still in our pockets. I don't know, just trying to save us.

 Vans Authentic White

You would think as much as I hate white sneakers I would not be wearing or owning some.  Here I am. White sneakers. Just don't tell anybody.

The Parley x adidas AlphaEDGE 4D is reminiscent of Daniel Arsham’s FUTURECRAFT 4D, as it continues the color of the sole unit through to its reworked upper. The tonal “Aero Green” upper is made from woven Primeknit and features reinforced pleats on the lateral and medial midfoot sections. Tonal TPU plates reinforce the upper around the heel and eyelet, with the former plate sporting an adidas logo.

As usual for adidas 4D models, the sole unit steals the show. Printed from light and oxygen using Carbon Digital Light Synthesis, the sole unit is a lattice-weave construction and is lined with a Continental outsole, making for a highly durable, performance-focused running shoe.

To be in with a chance of picking up a pair, head to the adidas app from May 31 to June 8, where the Parley and previously-seen White AlphaEDGE 4D’s will be available in limited quantities.

Never content to allow its iconic sneakers to stagnate, Vans continues introducing innovative footwear models, following the recent Bricolage pack with these imposing “Stacked” sneakers. Two of the sneaker company’s most iconic models receive tall platform outsoles, with two distinctive makeups of each on hand.

Both the Sk8-Hi and Era receive the height boost, which consists of translucent rubber midsoles and rippled outsoles attached to the pre-existing silhouette’s midsole. Along with the new soles, the shoes enjoy several more subtle tweaks, which include checkerboard heel panels on the familiar monochrome iterations and glittering “Confetti” toecaps on the “Fairy Wren” and “Sea Green” variations. The latter colorways offer black accents against cool-hued panels, making for impressively dramatic revisions.

Shop all four iterations of the tall shoes on Vans’ web store, with both women’s and men’s sizes available.

The summer is coming. Coming fast. This year just started and it's already summer. Somebody stop it. Or keep it coming. I don't know. What I do know is that this summer we have to touch some cities. Why I sound like a rapper? Touch some cities. No telling where Vans got me going. You see me around say what's up.

Jesus, I have to stop typing already. This what I have on today.

Lames by SanQuon

You see the words. You know the vibes. We not catching nothing but this great weather. (I'm just rolling with the rapper typing at this point, sorry).

I need to get something to wear my purple pants with. This not it and won't be. Don't tell me about something in the shirt being purple and all that. Don't do that. I hate people like that. It's nasty.

 California Native Era

Bet, you didn't know that Vans colors go this deep, huh? Beside black.  You can get this simple shoe and keep all the eyes on the shirt cause, yeah. That's what it's all about.

Coming off the back of a Vans collaboration, Supreme has just announced another new project in the form of this Nike collection. Although no shoes are present with this release, we are presented with an extensive array of apparel similar to last season’s workwear-inspired offerings. The collection includes items such as a water resistant nylon hooded sport jacket and warm up pant, hooded sweatshirt, sweatpant, jacquard logo sweater and nylon shoulder Bag. Retro sportswear themes run rampant throughout the selection and branding from both labels is inconspicuously strewn across most of the pieces, which should come as a welcome transition into the warmer months.

The Supreme x Nike 2019 summer collection will be available at the skate label’s in-store locations in New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London, Paris and also its online store from May 23. Japan will see a later release as usual on May 25.

With Taka Hayashi‘s latest Vans Vault collection taking on classics like the Authentic One and 138 Mid LX, other collaborators have also tuned in to display their unique spins over a spread of fresh rubber waffles. Unveiled is the debut collaboration between Vans and retailer Commonwealth.

First originated in Norfolk, Virginia, Commonwealth has built a reputation for itself, working closely with various artist’s like Virginia-native Pharrell Williams, Clipse and Bun B, while creating a space centered around art, design, skate and street culture. This time around, the retailer has teamed up with Vans on two iconic silhouettes — Era and Slip-On.

Inspirations from the art world, the military, and current events have been the prime considerations for the design of the sneakers. Both silhouettes are graced with uppers of premium suede. The Era comes in a light olive-tint, dubbed “Desert Sage.” Tiny black checkerboards grace the top edge of the midsole above the words “Every Generation Needs A New Revolution.” The Slip-On, tinged in “Lark Tan,” sees a beige upper that’s complemented by a crisp white sole. In contrast to the Era, checkerboard stripes appear on the foxing tape while the words “People Everywhere Are Created Equal” are placed above. As a finishing touch to the sneakers, Commonwealth branding is subtly placed on the reverse of the woven Vans tab.

The Vans x Commonwealth collection will be available May 18 on Commonwealth’s website and at its flagship stores for $120 USD.

As a follow up from the previous adidas Originals LXCON in “Core Black,” the Three Stripes has unveiled a brightly hued version of the silhouette in “Solar Green/Cream White,” alongside the Ozweego in “FTWR White/Solar Green,” joined together as the “Era Pack.”

Drawn from the German footwear company’s expansive archive, the adidas Originals LXCON is inspired by a pair of vintage runners from ‘94. In this iteration, the upper mesh is tinged in fluorescent green at the top and gradually fades into black near the midsole. Three stripes branding at the sides appears in the form of beige leather swatches that holds the translucent pipes running through. Blue accents, a plastic heel tab, and an eggshell-toned rubber outsole round up the details.

The Ozweego “FTWR White/Solar Green” takes design cues from the late ’90s to early ’00s as retro-influenced elements like its chunky adiPrene midsole and multilayered upper give the sneaker its distinctive character.

A recurring motif is seen in the aforementioned sneaker also gets added to this footwear piece, except more subtle this time — lightly tinted plastic pipes get tucked under the lace cage and heel. Three lime-colored stripes appear over blue and beige ripstop at the sidewalls. Premium suede and TPU overlays are also added to the breathable upper. Lastly, its Adiprene sole displays a slightly raised outsole at the heel that’s emboldened in an orange palette, adding warm accents to the shock absorbing technology.

The adidas Originals LXCON “Solar Green/Cream White” and Ozweego “FTWR White/Solar Green” will be available on May 18 at 4 a.m. EST at Adidas’ website for $100 USD.

The New Balance 576 has received a premium updated for Spring/Summer 2019. Wrapped in pigskin suede, this buttery 576SE builds upon last years’ 30th-anniversary edition for another luxurious take on the archival runner, this time sporting an “Eastern Spices” colorway.

Unlike celebratory 576’s of the past, this New Balance was developed by its Made in England division. The New Balance 576SE “Eastern Spices” also features sand and brown hues to its premium upper with hits of plush red leather on the “N” emblem and heel tab.

Mesh panels join the leather and suede mixed upper, which sits atop the rubber C-CAP sole unit — designed to be flexible and cushioned yet sturdy and lightweight. The premium Flimby-made pair can be bought now from retailers such as ELEVEN for €150 EUR (approx. $170 USD).

Supreme continues its footwear collaborations with the next Vans drop, this time focusing on a quintessentially urban design.

The duo are set to release the Spring/Summer 2019 Supreme x Vans collection with the “Diamond Plate” all-over pattern across the Sk8-Hi Pro and Slip-On Pro models. The high-top features suede panels and canvas uppers for durability, while the leather lining adds a premium feel that coincides with the Pro denomination. The Slip-On Pro as well features the canvas upper, leather interior and diamond plate print across the entire shoe. Lastly, white details (Vans stripe, brand tag) match the white midsole.

Color-wise, both models arrive in yellow, red, and white iterations, with the Sk8-Hi Pro having a contrasting suede panel in brown, navy, and black, respectively.

The last Supreme x Vans collaboration came with Jean Paul Gaultier’s floral-based collection of pieces, while the Fall/Winter 2018 partnership had Supreme work on the Sid Pro model. The former was a bit louder and made more of a statement, while the latter gave skaters and lifestyle sneakerheads a bit of subtlety. This season’s iteration is thus a mix of both, with the pattern and fairly subdued “Supreme” branding speaking for themselves.

Both the Supreme x Vans Sk8-Hi Pro and Slip-On Pro will hit online and in-store in NY, Brooklyn, LA, London and Paris on May 9. Japan Supreme brick and mortars and its online store will receive their stock on May 11.
