As the opening ceremony for the Rio Olympics nears, KITH is set to release the Nike Air Zoom Talaria “USA” as part of its Medal Stand Olympic collection. The Talaria first made history in 1997 as revered Nike designers such as Tinker Hatfield set out to craft the ideal running shoe. The All-American colorway features white with red accents and blue breathable mesh, as well as a gold swoosh. Nike’s Zoom Air technology constitutes 3/4 of the midsole, thus keeping its wearer as close to the ground as possible. The Talaria “USA” will release on August 5th at the Nike x Kith Pop-Up Store in NYC to coincide with the start of the Rio Games.
