This seem to just be the week of food. First we had a great meal at Jim N Nicks for my mother birthday. Still dreaming about that burger. That bacon was to die for. Now comes something homemade and great. Myka's cupcakes. They're so soft and light. I had some before. I think it was the blueberry muffins. It was at one for the events we did for Team Elite. People was eating them like they found the fountain of youth. You find yourself eating so many, get's you hooked. Kinda like Lay's "Betcha can't eat just one.".
You not eating less then four when it comes to her cupcakes. She's like the Andree 3000 of pastries. As in never seeing anything like it. What you see there is a red velvet cake. Named after the beet juices that was used in World War ll (random fun fact). This one was my favorite of the two. Until I tasted the other one.
This one is carrot, with a twist. That orange that's laying on top is pineapple. Yes, you read that right, this is a carrot cupcake with pineapple sauce dripping on top. You have to taste this. It hits your mouth like a ocean full of favors. First you taste the pineapple, next you get slapped with the frosting and just as you think the ride is over, the carrot slides on in for the home run.
