As I type this, the commercial just came on again. I seen the preview for this how awhile ago. I liked it once I seen it and was ready for the show. The wait is almost over. If you don't know, the show is about a basketball player named Cam Calloway.
Through a combination of God-given talent and north Philly grit, Cam Calloway and Reggie Vaughn have achieved fame and fortune that neither could have imagined growing up in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. But success comes with its own challenges, and the cousins and confidantes wrestle with the rewards of money, stardom, love, and occasionally, the guilt of having "made it." His mother takes this chance with all the money to get plastic surgery.
I was able to watch the first two episodes. It lives up to the hype that followed the show. It's funny and seem like it can be real for some. I was just reading LA Times. It was talking about how LeBron James’s Experiences Inspire ‘Survivor’s Remorse’. That's all I could think while watching the show. Was how much of it is LeBron life. Since he is the producer of the show.
Funfact: Mike O'Malley is the writer of the show. Yes, the guy from 'Yes, Dear' and 'Glee'. I love that guy.
Be sure to check it out this weekend.
