Beyoncé Covers CR Fashion Book Issue 5

 For Issue 5 of Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book, the young, yet revered imprint tapped Beyoncé for its latest cover story. Shot by Pierre Debusschere with guest creative direction coming from Riccardo Tisci, the double-sided cover image sees Queen B wearing an all-over floral cape from Yohji Yamamoto with a Yeezus-esque mask on one side. The rest of the spread includes styles from COMME des GARCONS, PRADA, Nike and a Chanel surfboard(t). Furthermore, in lieu of a cover story, Beyoncé wrote an introspective poem, which was then “remixed” by Pulitzer Prize–winning poet Forrest Gander.
