Coming soon from Jordan Brand is a special take on the Air Jordan 6. A nod to MJ’s first NBA title in 1991, the “First Championship” edition of the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette is–as Sneaker News points out–strikingly similar to the “23rd Anniversary” pair that USMNT keeper Tim Howard showed off earlier this summer, albeit without a fully reflective 3M upper. Decked out in white with hits of red to the heel pull stripes, Jumpman logos, and visible Air unit, the kicks see blue accents throughout while the icy look of the shoe’s outsole has been extended to both the tongue and heel pull tab. Stay tuned for concrete release info and expect this 23rd anniversary nod to Jordan’s first NBA championship to hit Jordan Brand stockists in limited quantities before the end of the year.
