The new DURKL lookbook for fall of 2009 is out and it looks pretty good. The Washington D.C. based clothing designers spent the entire summer reclaiming an old taxi garage in downtown DC for use as new office space, and despite how busy they've been the fall line doesn't show any signs of being rushed. It's got modern color meshed with classic cuts that are perfect for the fall. info.hypebeast |
Stussy's newly re-launched website has just previewed its Fall 2009 Lookbook. The collection takes a slightly more formal tone than we're perhaps used to and a adopts a university/education theme, with checked shirts dominating the line. The Lookbook shows the range to be both easy to wear and to match. The ad campaign for the collection uses only primary colours to create psychedelic, three-dimensional style imagery throughout that it is almost as impressive as the collection itself. Head over to Stussy for the complete range. info.hypebeast |

T.I.T.S (Two In The Shirt) is releasing its Fall / Winter '09 collection on August 20th to retailers worldwide. This season TITS continues to deliver its provocative imagery on Men's and Women's tops while stepping the game up to include hats and neckties as part of the Accessories collection. "What you can expect for Fall / Winter is a more focused line; real easy, simple styles you can wear out to the club, to the bar, and even the park. This season we used a lot grey, black, white and red with really clean graphics and great concepts" says Marek Grubel founder of TITS.
Some of the key pieces this season include Flawless, Cakes, Wifey's World, and the Best Things in Life are Free. As for future projects, look out for the highly anticipated Holiday release scheduled to launch mid October with 10 new designs along with an upcoming collaboration with one of the most popular adult film stars of all time….shhhh?
"This season we intend to show people we can expand our offerings and give our fans more options to wear TITS not just on the streets but in a more upscale setting as well. Typically you can't wear just a t-shirt to the club so now that we've introduced neckties to the collection there's no excuse not to wear TITS for a night out on the town," says Grubel. |

As usual, Nike likes to pick a theme and run with it for at least 2 to 3 colorways and styles. Probably because it's too hard to decide which is best so they put as many out as they can. Here is another installation of the Dunk Hi Splatter in a back and red colorway. I'm a sucker for colored mid-soles apposed to just black or white, which is probably why I'll end up getting these. These are retailing for $82 and now available at Standard Peachtree. |
If you're a surfer then this is the collabo that you've been waiting for this summer. Nike 6.0 teams up with Jimbo Phillips, a west coast surf & skate artist who leaves a distinct after taste in your mouth, a mix of salt water, fish tacos, and LSD. If you see one of Jimbo's arts you will know the next time you see another, due to his unique way of making his illustrations have motion, a 'wave-like' property. This might have something to do with him living in Santa-Cruz, AKA "Surf City" and the birth place of O'Neill. We are expected to see hand-painted pairs to drop on the 28th of June. So if you are a fan of Jimbo or just a humble surfer go out and check these kicks out. Oh yeah, by the way, good luck getting your paws on a pair of these, because there will be only 24 pairs available. Info.Antenna |
